Luis came to lending by way of engineering. He earned his degree in 2019 and spent his early career on large construction and infrastructure projects, in site engineering, logistics, and project management. That work taught him to solve problems, stay organized under pressure, and sweat the details, which turns out to be exactly what a clean loan file needs.

Originally from Cuba and now proudly calling Houston home, Luis has built his entire mortgage career at Warens. He chose the firm for its client-first culture and support system, and he has worked a wide range of programs and scenarios along the way. Every financial story is different, and that variety is what he loves about the job.
